Jammu Sizzles
SRINAGAR: Kashmir Valley is witnessing a pleasant weather with maximum temperature around 22 degrees Celsius even as the rest of the country is going through extreme heatwave conditions which have claimed hundreds of lives so far.
The maximum temperature in Srinagar was recorded at 22.1 degrees Celsius today while the minimum temperature was 10.4 degrees Celsius, an official of the MeT department was quoted by PTI here.
He said the temperatures across the Valley were in similar range but Jammu city was also going through a heatwave.
Jammu city recorded a maximum temperature of 37.3 degrees Celsius, he said, adding the mercury settled at a low of 23.6 degrees Celsius last night.
