SRINAGAR: Mr. N.N Vohra, Governor, today visited Mata Kheer Bhawani Shrine at Tulmulla and prayed for peace and well being of the people of the State and the country. He extended his greetings to the people, particularly Kashmiri Pandits, on the occasion of Jyestha Ashtami.
Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh, MLA Ganderbal; Mr. Shaukat Ayaz, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal; Mr. Imtiya Ismail, Superintendent of Police, Ganderbal, and several important members of the community received the Governor on his arrival at the Shrine. The Governor discussed with the Deputy Commissioner the need for the urgent completion of the still incomplete sewerage treatment plant, also seeking the Dharamarth Trusts involvement in this important Project. He also pointed to the need for the Ganderbal-Wayl Bridge road being widened at a few places to enable smoother traffic flows.
