Jammu- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday carried out raids at several locations in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with separate militancy cases.
In Baramulla district of the Valley, the NIA sleuths carried out searches at four places in Old Town in a case related to militancy in the Union Territory, the officials said.
The NIA sleuths were accompanied by police and CRPF, they said.
Teams of NIA also conducted raids and subsequent searches at five places in Kishtwar district, they said.
The houses of persons affiliated with proscribed outfits and those involved in militancy were searched, they added.
On Tuesday, the NIA swooped in at 12 locations in Jammu and Kashmir as part of its investigation in a Pakistan-backed militancy conspiracy case.
Out of the 12 locations, 11 were in the Kashmir Valley — eight in Pulwama district and one each in Kulgam, Anantnag, and Budgam districts — and one was in Poonch district of Jammu region.
