SRINAGAR: Meraj-ul-Alam was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety across Kashmir valley and Ladakh region, where people joined night-long prayers in mosques, shrines and Khanqahs.
Tens of thousands of devotees, including women, joined the night-long special prayers at Asaar-e-Sharief Hazratbal.
People had come from different parts of the valley and outside, joined the special prayers thoughout the night. However, after Morning prayers today, people had glimpse of holy relic.
The process of displaying the holy relic will continue till Friday and devotees can have the Deedar after every prayer.
