SRINAGAR, MAY 15: Legislative Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta today constituted three prestigious Committees of Committee on Public Accounts, Committee on Public Undertakings and Committee on Estimates of the Assembly. In addition, Gupta has also constituted the Privileges Committee and other panels of the Legislative Assembly.
Mian Altaf Ahmad will head the Committee on Public Accounts. Ten members of the Committee include Aga Syed Ruhulla Mehdi, M Y Tarigami, Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Mohammad Khalil Band, Abdul Rashid Dar, Sat Sharma, Ajay Nanda and Rajeev Sharma, Farooq Ahmed Andrabi and Shah Mohammad Tantray.
Rajiv Jasrotia has been appointed as Chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings, which will have 10 members including Mohammad Akbar Lone, Nawang Rigzin Jora, Javed Ahmad Rana, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Choudhary Mohammad Akram, Rajesh Gupta and Ravinder Raina, Mohammad Yusuf Bhat, Abid Hussain Ansari and Syed Mohammad Baqir.
Javid Hassan Beigh has been named as Chairman of the Committee on Estimates. The Committee members included Mubarak Gul, Vikar Rasool Wani and Usman Abdul Majid, Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh, Ranbir Singh Pathania, Shakti Parihar and Dina Nath Bhagat, Engineer Abdul Rashid, Raja Manzoor Ahmad and Abdul Rahim Rather.
The Privileges Committee will be headed by Zahoor Ahmad Mir. Other members of the Committee included Shamim Firdous, Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Javed Ahmad Rana, Shakti Parihar, Neelam Langeh and Rajesh Gupta, Yawar Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Yusuf Bhat.
Sham Lal Choudhary will be Chairman of the Committee on Petitions. The Committee members included Vikar Rasool Wani, Shamima Firdous, Engineer Abdul Rashid, Altaf Ahmad Wani, Ranbir Singh Pathania, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Javid Hussain Beigh and Abid Hussain Ansari.
The Committee on Environment will be headed by the G. M .Saroori. The Committee members include Mtr. Shamim Firdous, Mr. Devender Singh Rana, Mr. Abdul Majeed Larmi, Mr. Altaf Ahmed Wani, Mr. Mohammad Amin Bhat, Mr. Daleep Singh, Dr. Krishan Lal, Mr. Yawar Ahmad Mir, Mr. Mohammad Abbas Wani, Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Mir, Mr. Dina Nath, Mr. Neelam Kumar Langeh, Mr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Mr. Gulzar Ahmed Wani, Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed, Mr. Deldan Namgail, Dr. Gagan Bhagat, Mtr. Anjum Fazili.
The Speaker will himself head the Library Committee. The other members include Mian Altaf Ahmed, Mr. G.M. Saroori, Mr. Mohammad Khalil Band, Mr. Sham Lal Choudhary, Mr. Abdul Rashid Dar, Mr. Kamal Verma, Dr. Davinder Manyal, Mr. Ajay Nanda, Mr. Gulzar Ahmed Wani and Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather.
Ch. Qamar Hussain will be the Chairman of the Ethics Committee and the other members include Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora, Mr. Zahoor Ahmed Mir, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Er. Abdul Rashid, Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed Sheikh, Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed, Mr. Jeevan Lal, Dr. Krishan Lal and Syed Farooq Ahmed Andrabi.
The Speaker himself will be the Ex-officio Chairman of the General Purpose Committee and other members include Dy Speaker, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Gurezi, Main Altaf Ahmed, Mr. Rajiv Jasrotia, Mr. Javid Hassan Beigh, Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone., Mr. Mohammad Amin Bhat, Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Dr. Gagan Bhagat, Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Mir, and Shah Mohammad Tantary.
The Speaker himself will be the Ex-officio Chairman of Rules Committee and the other members include Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora, Mr. M. Y. Tarigami, Mr. Satpaul Sharma, Mr. Rajiv Jasrotia, Mr. Jeevan Lal, Raja Manzoor Ahmed and Mr. Noor Mohammad Sheikh.
The Speaker himself will be the Ex-officio Chairman of House Committee and the other members include Hakeem Mohammad Yasin, Mr. G. M. Saroori, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Mr. Mohammad Khalil Band, Usman Abdul Majid, Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed, Ch. Mohammad Akram, Mr. Ravinder Raina, Mr. Daleep Singh and Mr. Mohammad Abbas Wani.
Hakeem Mohammad Yasin will be the Chairman of Committee on Government Assurances and the other member includes, Mr. Zahoor Ahmed Mir, Mr. Sham Lal Choudhary, Mr. Kamal Verma, Mr. Asgar Ali Karbali, Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Mr. Kuldeep Raj, Syed Mohammad Baqir Rizvi and Noor Mohammad Shiekh.
Mr. Bashir Ahmed Dar will be the Chairman of Committee on Sub-Ordinate Legislation and the other members are Mr. Mubarak Gul, Mr. Devender Singh Rana, Mr. Abdul Majid Larmi, Mr. Deldan Namgail, Mr. Kuldeep Raj, Ch. Qamar Hussain, Mr. Asgar Ali Karbali and Mtr. Anjum Fazili.
