ANANTNAG: A woman died after being swept away in a flash flood in Kokernag area of south Kashmirs Anantnag district, police said today.
38-year-old Haseena Begum, wife of Nazir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Cheri Larnoo died after being washed away in flood caused by heavy rains and hail storm in Larnoo area of Kokernag.
The body was later retrieved and handed over to her relatives for last rites.
