Srinagar: Police on Thursday arrested two persons along with toy pistols near the bus stand from Anantnag district.
The official identified the arrested persons as Imtiyaz Khan, son of Gowhar Ali Khan of Lar Ganderbal and Irshad Ahmad Lohar, son of Mirbaz of Lolab, Kupwara.
Both were taken to Joint Interrogation Center (JIC) in the district for questioning, the official said.
Meanwhile, locals at Beighpora area of Awantipora found two AK-47 rifles from a pile of cow dung in the rice field and subsequently informed police.
The police team immediately reached the spot and recovered both the rifles from the site, the official said.
