Ganderbal- The wildlife department on Thursday launched a massive search operation after the locals spotted a leopard at Khanpora area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said.
Officials said that the wildlife department here has started a massive search operation in various areas of Ganderbal district to catch a leopard found roaming at Khanpora, area of Dab Wakura.
Ranger of Wildlife department, Suhail Qazi told a local news agency KNO that the whole area will be scrutinized till the leopard is captured.
“A team has been rushed to the area that will take all the measures for necessary intervention,” he said.
“Due to darkness, it creates hurdle for team but the operation will be continue till the leopard is captured,” he added
