Srinagar- The district administration Srinagar on Monday warned legal action after a fake list of Nazool properties in this capital city went viral on social networking websites.

Legal action against the fear mongers being initiated through,” reads a tweet by the Srinagar district administration.
A police official told Kashmir Observer that FIR will be lodged against those who are creating confusion and panic among the people.
Notably, there are several lists of alleged encroachers doing rounds on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Earlier, on Tuesday former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said the government advocates took a stand that the lists in public domain are fake.
“My sister approached the High Court where the government advocates took a stand that the lists in public domain are fake. Then what is the basis of demolitions carried out right now?” he asked.
