SRINAGAR- Real Kashmir FC was on Friday defeated 2-0 by defending champions Gokulam Kerala FC in an I-League match at the EMS Corporation Stadium in Kozhikode, Kerala.
Midfielder Thahir Zaman opened the score for the hosts in the 35th minute of the match, while striker Jobby Justin doubled Kerala’s lead in the 85th minute. The defeat condemned Real Kashmir to fifth spot in the I-League table, with 18 points from 12 match. Gokulam rose to third in the table, having taken 21 points from 12.
Real Kashmir will next play Churchill Brothers FC on Tuesday, January 24 at Tilak Maidan in Vasco da Gama, Goa.
