SRINAGAR- J&K senior men’s team reached 241/3 at the end of Day 2 on Wednesday of the four day Ranji Trophy match against Tripura.
The match is being played at Hostel Ground JKCA in Jammu.
Opening batter Abhinav Puri led the charge for J&K as he played a patient innings of 121 (316) to guide his team to a massive total with 7 wickets in hand. The match against Tripura is Puri’s only second test for J&K after making his debut in 2015-16. Captain Shubham Khajuria 53 (129) and IPL’s latest recruit, Vivrant Sharma 55 (122), also played well to guide J&K to a strong position at the end of Day 2.
Ian Chauhan 4 (50) and Abdul Samad 0 (1) were on the crease at stumps.
