Srinagar – Due to leakage of LPG gas, fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Akbar Dar son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Nowrooz Baba, Budgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Khag. The house was gutted completely in the incident, besides, four persons Farooq Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Akbar, Haja Begam wife of Mohammad Akbar Dar, Abdul Rashid Dar son of Mohammad Akbar and Abdul Rehim Dar son of Ghulam Rasool residents of Nowrooz Baba, Khag were injured. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another fire incident at Lal Bazar, Srinagar fire broke out in the house of Mohammad Rafiq Qureshi son of Shams-ud-Din resident of Qureshi Mohalla, Lal Bazar caused due to electric short circuit. The house was partially damaged in the incident. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
