SRINAGAR- The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association on Friday announced the 22-member J&K team for the upcoming 73rd Senior National Football Championship Santosh Trophy.
As many as 13 footballers from Srinagar city have made it to the final list. The championship will take place from December 23, 2022 in Kerala. With Ladakh all set to make history by playing its first senior football match against Uttarakhand.
The team was selected during a selection camp in Jammu by JKFA’s selection committee.
J&K will play its first match on December 26 against Bihar. The team will face Mizoram on December 29. On Matchday 3, Jammu & Kashmir will battle Rajasthan. The team will then face off with host Kerala on January 5, 2023. In the final group stage match on January 7, J&K will take on Andhra Pradesh.
