JAMMU: The Minister of State for R&B, Mr. Sunil Kumar Sharma in the Legislative Council today said that Detailed Project Report of stage II of Auora Kino Gujar Basti Road in Pahalgam constituency has been formulated for Rs. 211.39 lakh and is under submission with the State Technical Agency (STA) for scrutiny after which the same shall be submitted to the Union Ministry for Rural Development for accord of sanction as per priority.
While replying to a question by Mr. Sofi Yousuf , the Minister said that the road is sanctioned under phase VI of PMGSY for stage I under the nomenclature B L Road to Auora and has already been completed.
The Minister said the road from Aishmuqam to Hakard is not included in the core network of PMGSY. However, he said the habitation Hukardis connected by PMGSY road under the nomenclature K P Road to Serchan which has already been macadamized.
The Minister informed the House that the road namely Pulwama-Tahab-Sangam via Niana involving a length of 22 Km has already been upgraded to the blacktopping status under projectization programme. He said the road from Lassipora to Sangam via Niana which is part of the same road with a length of 14 Km is being upgraded under Central Road Fund Programme. He said an amount of Rs. 260.40 lakh stands incurred till date under the said programme. The road shall be completed by next financial year subject to availability of balanced funds, the Minister said.
With regard to the project cost of B.L to Auora road the Minister said that in stage-II the work was taken up for execution in 2013 with a sanctioned cost of Rs. 158.57 lakh and was completed in 2014. He said in stage second, the DPR at a cost for Rs. 211.39 lakh is under submission with the State Technical Agency.
The Minister said that the project of Lassipora to Sangam via Naina road with an estimated cost of Rs. 750 lakh was executed in 2013-14 and is expected to be completed during 2015-16 subject to availability of funds.
