Srinagar- Once scolded by parents and relatives for spending too much time playing games, Mesum Abbas, a class ninth student from old city’s Hassanabad locality has become one of the most popular Kashmiri Gamers.
Mesum Abbas, 15, packages his gaming videos and uploads them on YouTube. He recently revealed his face after being invited by a popular Radio Jockey on his show.
Some of his videos have gained millions of views on the popular video streaming platform YouTube.
“I upload videos of the popular game free fire. Back in 2017, I was scolded for playing games but things changed later on. During the Covid-19 lockdown, my family supported me and eventually I started uploading his gaming videos on YouTube,” Mesum said.
On being asked if he has a message for his fellow Kashmiri teenagers, he said education is the most important thing.
“No matter what you want to do, it is important for everybody among us to study, prioritize education over other things” Mesum said.
About his future plans, he says that he wants to develop a Kashmir centric game in the future.
