SRINAGAR- The 2nd Positive Kashmir Invitational Football Tournament has entered its semi final stages after the final round of quarter final matches were played on Tuesday at Synthetic Turf TRC.
In the evening game, FC ONE defeated Kashmir Maharaja FC by 5 goals to 1.
Shafkat of FC ONE was awarded the man of the match for his outstanding performance. Javaid Ahmed senior coach Sports Council was the chief guest on the occasion.
Earlier, Ali Jana FC defeated Syed Taj-ud-Din FC.
With these wins both FC ONE and Ali Jana FC reached the semi finals of the competition.
According to the fixtures list provided by the organisers, the semi final clashes will take place on Thursday, November 3.
Hot favourites J&K Bank will face off against Ali Jana FC at 2 pm while FC ONE will lock horns with Downtown Heroes FC at 5 pm. Both matches will be played at Synthetic Turf TRC.
The tournament is organised by valley-based NGO, The Positive Kashmir, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
