Srinagar- The Jammu division of the Union Territory reported four fresh cases of novel Coronavirus on Saturday, while no new case of virus was registered in Kashmir Valley.
According to officials, three new cases of Covid-19 were detected in Samba and one from Jammu district on Saturday, taking the total number of people infected since the outbreak of pandemic in J&K to 479245.
Also, the officials said that the death toll in the pandemic remained unchanged at 4785 in J&K—2352 in Jammu division and 2433 in the Valley, as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
Besides, they said, eight Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—four each from the Valley and Jammu division. There are now 40 active cases— 21 in Jammu and 19 in Kashmir.
