Srinagar- Kashmir Valley remained Coronavirus free for the second consecutive day Wednesday, while nine fresh cases of Covid-19 were reported from different parts of Jammu division.
According to officials, no new case of Coronavirus was registered in Kashmir Valley, while in winter capital Jammu district detected six and Rajouri, Samba and Kishtwar reported one new case each of Covid-19, taking the total number of people infected since the onset of pandemic in the Union Territory to 479229.
Also, the officials said that the death toll in the pandemic remained unchanged at 4785 in J&K— 2352 in Jammu division and 2433in Kashmir Valley, as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
“Moreover, 04 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals from Kashmir division,” they added.
