Kathua – Tehsil Information Centre, Bani today organised Multilingual Mushiara whereat a large number of local poets participated.

The prominent among the poets who recited their poems were Yudhistar Gupta. Likquat Ali, Abdual Gaini, Mohinder Singh, Jai Singh and Ajay Sujan.
The poets presented their creations in Hindi, Urdu and Dogri on communal Harmony, mutual brotherhood, besides eradication of Social evils, corruption, and drug addictions, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the Information Department for organising such type of functions which promote exchange of ideas and promote communal harmony and brotherhood. He said that writers play a vital role in eradicating social evils from the society. He exhorted for organizing more such functions in the backward and remotest areas of the Bani Tehsil to provide plateform to the budding poets of the area.
