Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir reported 26 fresh cases of novel Coronavirus on Thursday, taking the total number of people infected since the onset of pandemic in the Union Territory to 479018.
According to officials, 23 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in Kashmir Valley and the remaining three from Jammu division.
In the Valley, they said, Srinagar reported the highest 13 new cases of virus, Ganderbal 5, Budgam 4 and Bandipora 1. No new cases were detected in the remaining six districts of the Valley.
In the winter capital, officials said, Jammu registered two new cases of Coronavirus while Samba one.
Also, the officials said that the death toll in the pandemic remained unchanged at 4785 in J&K, as no fresh fatality was reported during the last 24 hours.
Besides, they said, 25 Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—19 from Jammu division and 6 from Kashmir Valley.
