Srinagar: The Coaching Centers Association (CCA) of Kashmir has decided to start their regular work under stringent safety guidelines following the closure of private coaching centers over swine flu scare.
The association was forced to close all the coaching centers in the valley after swine flu infections started rising on 23rd February.
The situation is still not normal but we have decided to resume our work under strict safety guidelines, said G N Var chairman CCA Kashmir.
We approached Doctors Association of Kashmir and they helped us devise the advisory and safety precautions that would help us to function normally.
The association said that decision to open the institutes was taken after meeting with DAK officials who guided them on the entire situation.
They told us how world works under such circumstances and what precautions need to be taken to remain infection-free, said Var.
“We have sent the guidelines to all of our coaching centres asking them to strictly adhere to it.
The guidelines include frequent washing of hand, providing well ventilated classrooms, etiquettes of sneezing, coughing etc. As DAK too agreed that life has to move on and one cannot stop the day to day working as it would hamper the career of our students.
Various examinations are approaching and we have to prepare the students for entrance tests too, said Var. So in the interest of all we have decided to resume our normal work under safe conditions.
