Srinagar- A sexagenarian man was attacked and critically injured by a black bear in Lolab Valley of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, reports said Saturday.
68-year-old Saifullah Mughal was attacked by a black bear in his native village Kawari of Lolab on Friday night, reports said. Mughal sustained serious injuries before the villagers chased away the beast.
The elderly man, reports said, was removed to sub-district hospital Sogam by his family for treatment. However, the doctors there referred him to District Hospital Handwara for specialized treatment.
