SRINAGAR- J&K Sports Council (JKSC) on Saturday kick started its Open Football School for children under the age of 12 with a short training session at Synthetic Turf TRC.
The session saw a considerable number of young football enthusiasts and their parents as JKSC’s professional football coaches imparted footballing lessons to the children.
JKSC’s ‘Open Football School’ initiative is part of the Council’s Football Academy setup and is scheduled to be held every Wednesday and Saturday at 4:00 PM at the Synthetic Turf TRC. The cut off age for the trainees is 01-01-2010. Interested guardians/parents/players can avail forms from the Office of the Incharge/Manager Synthetic Turf Football Stadium TRC.
The Football School has a monthly fee of Rs. 500 and requires various documents, including an Aadhar Card of the Trainee, a Municipality issued Birth Certificate, etc.
