SRINAGAR: A moderate intensity earthquake shook Kashmir Valley in the wee hours today but there were no reports of any casualty or damage due to the tremor.
The earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale was felt around 3.29am throughout the Valley, including Srinagar, MeT Department officials said.
The epicentre of the earthquake was in Pakistan and coordinates were 34.6 degrees north and 73.2 degrees east at a depth of 10km.
