ANANTNAG: Credit to the tune of Rs. 520.57 crore has been disbursed under the District Credit Action Plan for the year 2014-15 ending December in favor of 18279 unit holders of district Anantnag.
The information was given out at the District Level Review cum Consultative Committee (DLRC) meeting for the 3rd quarter of the current financial year held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Mr. Tasaduq Jeelani.
While giving sector wise details the Lead District Manager informed that 9532 income generating units were established in Agriculture sector, 7249 units in Micro & Small Industries sector besides 1498 beneficiaries were provided loan to the tune of Rs. 27.13 crore under education and housing and other priority sectors.
Regarding Kissan Credit Cards scheme, the bankers informed that 85657 Kissan Credit Cards cases were sanctioned and disbursements made in favor of 64815 Kissan Credit Card cases to the tune of Rs. 413.16 crore.
The meeting was informed that under PMJD Yojana, 119358 households have been identified in the district upto January 26, 2015.
The Director RSETI informed the meeting that 206 candidates have been provided Skill Development Training in various crafts like Chain Stitch, Embroidery & other crafts and till date 18 candidates have got credit linkage, out of the said cases, through various banks of the district.
The Lead District Manager asked the line departments to send all sponsored cases within week to clear the pending sponsorship cases.
District Development Commissioner directed the line departments to ensure full coverage of the targets for the year.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Mr. R.K Srarma, AGM, RBI, Cluster heads of J&K Bank, Director RESTI, Mr. Jeelani Ang. District Dev. Manger NABARD Mr. Junaid, representatives of various banks and Officers of line Deportments.
