Srinagar: Ghulam Mohammad Butt Almadani, President Jamait Ahlihadees J&K Friday said Islam is the religion of peace, justice and equity.
In a statement he said, It stands against every kind of terrorism hence relating Islam to terrorism is nothing but ignorance. Islam teaches us patience, restraint, brotherhood, ethics, and humanity and it is our duty to propagate this true face of Islam.
While speaking to people at Jamia Ahlihadees Jatkatiyan Jammu he said, Islam as its name suggests means peace and this religion stands for universal brotherhood, tolerance, justice and equity. Islam has taught us ethics of high standard and hence relating it to terrorism is actually insanity and ignorance. Islam is against every kind of terrorism and stands for humanity and human values.
Butt said that today Muslims across the globe are in miserable condition. We are being subjected to worst kind of oppression. International community has failed to address the issues relating to Muslim world and there is no one to stand for the oppressed Muslims, he said.
