SUPER specialty hospital is a tertiary care hospital where patients receive advanced treatment for diseases. Patients are referred from other hospitals to this hospital but they are made to wait a pretty long time to get an appointment.
The hospital has many infrastructural shortcomings not just for patients but for the staff as well. As far as leaves are concerned, as per Govt rules, every employee is entitled to avail any type of leave above all casual leaves when emergency occurs but here it becomes tough to get it sanctioned for most of the employees. Every section should have at least one extra employee to cover for employees who take an off day due to personal emergencies.
The patients who get referred to this hospital for any speciality have to wait for 2 months. Unfortunately, meanwhile, the patient’s condition deteriorates.
The officers who run the administration must address everything in a holistic manner so that everything operates smoothly. The space of the appointment dates must be increased so that patients can get an appointment at the earliest.
