Jammu: Justice Bawa Singh Walia was administered oath of office as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The oath was administered by Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Justice Narayanan Nadar Paul Vasanthakumar, in the Chief Justices Court, at High Court Complex, Jammu.
Earlier the Notifications received from Union Ministry of Law and Justice (Department of Justice) was read by Registrar General of the High Court, Kaneez Fatima. She also read the Letter of Authorization by the Governor authorizing Justice N. N. Paul Vasanthakumar, Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, to administer the oath to the Honble Judge.
The oath taking ceremony was attended by Justices Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Hasnain Massodi, AM Magrey, Dhiraj Thakur, Tashi Rabstan,BL Bhat, Janak Raj Kotwal besides others.
