Srinagar: National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah in a message from London has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of noted medico and former Director SKIMS and former Principal Government Medical College Sringar, Dr. Syed Zahoor Ahmad who passed away in Srinagar on Saturday. Dr. Farooq extended his condolences to the family of Dr. Syed Zahoor Ahmed.
Paying glorious tributes to Dr. Syed Zahoor Ahmed, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said his services towards the Medical Sector in J&K are historic and will be remembered for a long time to come. Dr. Zahoors demise has left a vacuum that will be hard to fill. He has taught and instructed numerous doctors in the State who have attained heights of success and continue serving the people with dedication. Founder of SKIMS, Late Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah thought very highly of Dr. Zahoors dedication and competence and always lauded his hard-work. I pray for peace to the departed soul and for patience to the family to bear this loss, Dr. Farooq added.
