Srinagar: Human Rights activist and Chairman International Forum for Justice, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo Monday lashed out at separatist groups for playing politics over Muhammad Afzal Guroo and Muhammad Maqbool Bhat issue. He said that separatist leaders are not only relying on the hartal calls but also forget these sons of soil once their martyrdom anniversaries pass off every year.
Untoo told CNS that every separatist group wants to take lead in issuing hartal calls and they remember Guroo and Bhat only on their anniversaries. It has become customary for these separatist leaders to issue hartal calls on the anniversary of Guroo and Bhat. Once anniversary day passes off they shut their eyes and forget these sons of soil, he said adding that Hurriyat leaders lack strategy and no leader is interested in to forge unity among all factions.
We dont do any good to nation. We are a scattered lot and we all lack strategy. People of Kashmir have suffered much and it is high time to forge unity and devise a strategy to face the common adversary, he said adding that mere issuing hartal calls are not going to bear any fruit for the oppressed people of Kashmir.
