Srinagar: A day ahead of Rajya Sabha polls, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Friday expressed confidence that both its candidates will emerge victorious.
Talking to KNS he said, We will win both RS seats.
He rejected the media reports that some of PDP MLAs will transfer their vote to BJP and in return PDP will get votes from some independents. We have numbers and dont need to do so, he said.
Asked why they were in touch with PDF chief and MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad Yasin and AIP chief and MLA Langate Engineer Abdur Rasheed, Akhtar said, It is part of politics. You keep on talking with other parties and politicians. There is no harm in it.
