ANANTNAG, JANUARY 30: The District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, Mr. Tasaduq Jeelani convened a meeting of officers of JKPCC, Health and Planning here today and reviewed the pace of various ongoing developmental and welfare projects in the district.
The District Development Commissioner was informed that an amount of Rs. 29.96 crores have been utilized for construction of Block C, Common Entrance Block, Lavatory Block, Boiler House and Electric Room for District Hospital Anantnag.
The meeting was also informed that Rs. 5.75 crore were utilized on construction of Government Degree College Kokernag, while as Rs. 6 crore are being spent on the construction of Government Degree College Utrsoo.
The District Development Commissioner was also apprised that an amount of Rs. 3.15 crore have also been spent on construction of Geography block for Government Degree College Boys Anantnag. Similarly, Rs. 2.11 crore was also utilized for construction of Auditorium Block of Women College Anantnag. While as Rs. 5.55 crore and Rs. 5.39 crore were also spent for construction work for Pushwara and Bagwani bridges respectively.
The meeting was also told that Rs. 60 lakhs have been spend for construction of Trauma Hospital at Bijbehara.
Among others the meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Deputy General Manager JKPCC, Chief Medical Officer Anantnag and other officers.
