SRINAGAR- In a significant development, all the Designated Partners of Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) incorporated within the UT of J&K and Ladakh are being informed to mandatorily register themselves as ‘Business Users’ on the recently launched Version 3 of MCA21 System.
This decision was taken during a meeting held in the office of Registrar of Companies (ROC) for UTs of J&K and Ladakh.
Designated partner as a concept in LLP is similar to a Director in a company.
In this direction, the necessary guidelines and instructions have already been passed on to Professional Institutes to sensitize all the stakeholders about this transition. All the designated partners of LLPs incorporated should complete this exercise in earliest possible time.
Meanwhile, the meeting in this regard at Jammu was chaired by Sudhir Phaye and by Haamid Bukhari in Kashmir.
It was given out that this is a nationwide exercise across all the ROC offices in the country and will ensure proper identification of Designated Partners (DPs) who have incorporated themselves in body corporate form of LLP.
