Eid Mubarak!
MERCY and forgiveness are the favours that the month of Ramazan brings along with it. Believers try to make the most of this blessed month, striving, seeking and smiling through Allah’s assured promise of blessings and forgiveness. It is this journey that that culminates into Eid ul Fitr that we are celebrating today.
Whether it is the nights of Laylatul Qadr or the blessed Fridays or the our blissful mundane with errands around the marketplace for fruits or for dates – Ramzan set itself apart in greatness yet again.
Here are some such mundane yet quintessential pictures that defined this year’s Ramazan.
Celebrating Women in Ramazan
For women, the concept of worship during Ramazan moves beyond worship. Very often, women feel that they’re so occupied with daily chores that they do not find time to retreat and spend a minute with Allah. But Allah’s infinite mercy is wise, He blesses each one for in every role of service to our family. In our society, women’s worship moves beyond the boundaries of five prayers or recitation and extends to the unparalleled reward of making Sehri, cooking Iftaar, getting the kids ready for school and in many cases, rushing to their own work places. Kudos to them, today and each day!
Here are some clicks out of the cameras of our photographers showing women enjoying their time in prayer, worship and some necessary Eid shopping!
