NEW DELHI: Over 50 trains were delayed Tuesday due to fog in Delhi, forcing cancellation of few others, said an official.
The national capital will experience a partly cloudy Tuesday, said the Met Office.
According to an official of the Northern Railway, 51 trains coming to the city were delayed while the departure time of six trains was rescheduled and six other trains were cancelled.
“There was moderate fog in the morning and the visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 600 metres. The sky will become partly cloudy noon onwards,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The day’s minimum temperature settled three notches above the season’s average at 9.8 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 21 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 88 percent.
Monday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 20.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average. The minimum temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average.
