SRINAGAR:National Conference Friday appointed NC leader and former Political Secretary to Chief Minister Tanvir Sadiq as the Political Secretary to NC Working President, Omar Abdullah, a party statement said.
Tanvir Sadiq, a prolific writer on politics, social issues and matters relating to empowerment of youth and women is the son of NC Leader Late Mr. Sadiq Ali, the statement said.
The statement further said that prior to his tenure as the Political Secretary to former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Tanvir served as the Spokesperson of J&K National Conference. Tanvir has also served previously as the head of the NC Cyber Cell and has also served as Corporator of the Srinagar Muncipal Corporation.
