Srinagar- For the first time in the last two years, Jammu and Kashmir registered no new cases or fatalities due to Coronavirus on Monday
According to officials, no fresh cases of Covid-19 were detected in any of the 20 districts spread across the Union Territory. While the Valley reported 30 new cases on Sunday, the Jammu division remained Covid-19 free for the sixth straight day on Monday.
The Union Territory has only 79 active positive cases of Coronavirus— one in Jammu and 78 in the Kashmir Valley.
“Moreover, 13 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 01 from Jammu division and 12 from Kashmir division,” the officials said.
As many as 4750 people have lost their lives in J&K since the outbreak of pandemic in the year 2020.
