Srinagar: At a time when Jammu and Kashmir Bank is busy in expanding its base and inaugurates Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) on daily or monthly basis, the ATM located at Brein Nishat in Srinagar city remains always defunct.
According to residents, this ATM vide number 821 has become the source of frustration for the Bank customers.
A delegation from Brein Nishat told CNS that the ATM has become redundant from past many month in the area while the Jammu and Kashmir Bank authorities do not bother to repair or replace it.
One of the members of delegation, Muhammad Asif said that the residents repeatedly requested authorities to replace the said machine, however nothing was done.
The delegation requested Bank authorities either to replace it or close it for good as its installation serve no purpose to the Bank customers. (CNS)
