Srinagar: Reiterating its support to PDP for the formation of the secular coalition, CPI (M) leader and MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami Thursday said parties must not delay further in the formation of the new government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to KNS, Tarigami said that the people of the state are caught up in serious crisis with the scarcity of basic amenities in absence of the democratically government is taking a toll.
He said the secular and a non- BJP government is possible in JK as PDP is being offered support from all sides in this regard. The onus lies with the PDP as it has emerged as the single largest party in the state after state elections. PDP has to take final call in this regard and same must be done at an earliest, he said.
Tarigami maintained that the parties are ready to support PDP to form the secular government. By the formation of secular government, Jammu in no way is going to be ignored as it is the constitution of the state which ensures overall development of all the regions of the state, he added.
