Srinagar: Nearly 1400 Kashmiri Pandits who were adjusted in different government departments in 2010 under Prime Ministers Package are without monthly salaries from the last four months.
Kashmiri Pandits residing in Sheikhpora colonies told CNS that the government has failed to disburse their salaries for last four months, resulting in extreme inconvenience to the employees.
President PM Package employees Association Sanjay Raina said that they were assured about salary release by the authorities but that proved to be a cruel joke and that had no means to manage their affairs.
Kashmiri Pandits working in different government departments including R&B, Toursim, Social Welfare, Medical Education have been suffering as the authorities dont bother to release their salaries, he said and appealed the heads of concerned department to disburse their salaries. (CNS)
