Poonch: An Army porter was injured in a landmine blast in Mendhar area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
Official sources said that Mohammad Khursheed son of Mohammad Zaman of Rajdani Rajouri was carrying supplies for Army in mountainous top near Terkundi Nallah this afternoon when he accidently stepped over a landmine.
The porter received injuries in both the legs and was immediately airlifted to army hospital for treatment in unconscious state, they said.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case and started further investigations in this regard.
