Srinagar- A soldier from central Kashmir’s Budgam district died on Friday, days after he suffered a brain hemorrhage in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
The soldier identified as Bashir Ahmad Ganaie of Wahabpora succumbed at the Leh hospital on Friday morning after suffering a brain hemorrhage a few days earlier, reports said.
Meanwhile, his family has urged J&K Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to facilitate the airlifting of the body
Dr Javaid Ahmed, cousin of the deceased soldier told a local news agency KNT that Bashir Ahmed died today in the hospital and now they earnestly appeal to the authorities particularly to LG Manoj Singh to get his body airlifted from Leh to Srinagar.
