SRINAGAR: Detained ailing chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Mohammad Yasin Malik, who is on hunger strike from last 4 days, was shifted from Soura medical institute to district jail Anantnag last night.
JKLF alleged that on 22nd December, authorities of Soura medical institute visibly under pressure from police and rulers discharged ailing JKLF chairman from hospital and handed him over to police.
During four days of hunger strike, Yasin sahibs blood pressure was dipping low but police showing its worst and ugly behavior shifted him to Islamabad jail where he is continuing his hunger strike, a JKLF statement said.
Taking strong note of this police highhandedness, JKLF has decided to hold a day long token hunger strike in solidarity with ailing chairman at 10: 00 a.m. at Maisuma on Thursday 24th December 2014.
