Srinagar- A CISF personnel was detained at the Srinagar Airport on Saturday after two live rounds and one empty cartridge were found in his his baggage.
Official sources that during screening at the drop gate of the Srinagar Airport, two live rounds and one empty cartridge of INSAS rifle was recovered from the baggage of a CISF personnel, who was immediately detained for questioning, according to news agency KNO.
“The security personnel has been identified as CT Driver Nada of CISF unit PGCL Wagoora Puhroo who is currently posted at Nowgam Wagoora Pahru,” officials said.
A police official said that he has been handed over to police post Humhama and further investigation has been launched in this regard.
