ANANTNAG, DECEMBER 18: All the required arrangements for counting of votes on December 23, 2014 for six Assembly Constituencies of District Anantnag were finalized today in a meeting chaired by District Election Officer Anantnag.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Returning Officers, Nodal Officers, besides officers of different security agencies attended the meeting.
It was informed in the meeting that the counting of votes for Assembly constituencies of Anantnag, Pahalgam, Bijbehara, Kokernag, Shangus and Dooru Constituencies will be held in six Counting Halls at GDC Boys Anantnag. It was further informed that adequate arrangements have been put in place with logistic facilities around all the counting halls. The 2-day training programme for counting staff shall be conducted on December 18 and 19, 2014. The 2ndrandomization of the counting staff will be held on December 20, 2014, while as the final randomization of the required counting staff will be conducted on December 22, 2014.
