SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 06: The J&K State Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd today reopened its Agri Mall which had been severely damaged by devastating floods of September 2014.
In this connection a small but impressive function was organised by the corporation where Director Agriculture Kashmir Mushtaq Peerzada was the Chief Guest while Managing Director Agro Industries Corporation Ltd Ab. Majid Bhat presided over the function.
The Managing Director informed that Farm Machinery worth Rs 1.5 crores has been kept on display and sale in the Mall for the Orchardists, Agriculturists and the farmers of the valley on competitive rates.
Director Agriculture Kashmir while appreciating the revival of the Agri Mall hailed the services rendered by the Corporation during past few years by making the farm machinery available to the farmers. He said that farm machinery is playing a vital role in reducing the labour cost and making the Agriculture a profitable economic activity. The machinery which the Corporation has kept on sale includes Tractors, Tillers, Brush cutters, Spray Motors & Pumps etc
