JAMMU- J&K Bank football team on Monday entered the finals of 15th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament 2021, being played at GGM Science College Ground, here.
Playing against Pegasus Hero’s FC, the J&K Bank team scored four goals to hand a comprehensive beating to their semifinal opponent. Uneeb opened the scoring in the 31st minute, before Aqif scored 2 goals in the 54th and 76th minute to make the score 3-0 in favour of J&K Bank. Furqan scored in the 78th minute to make the score 4-0, and that’s how it stayed till the final whistle.
The J&K Bank team will now face Shaheen FC in the finals. Shaheen FC defeated Jammu United 2-1 in the second semifinal with goals from Inder and Sanjeev.
The final match of Christmas Gold Cup will be played on Friday, December 17. The match will kick off at 2:00 PM.
