SRINAGAR State Congress leadership faced embarrassment as Congress candidate from Bandipore, Usman Majeed, didn’t attend his party president Sonia Gandhi’s public meeting in the town on Friday.
There was no word from the party on why Majeed had skipped Sonia’s public rally in his constituency.
Gandhi, who was accompanied by senior Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Ambika Soni and Saifudin Soz hit out at both at alliance partner NC as well as BJP for failing the people of Kashmir.
