RAFIABAD: National Conference leader and MLA Rafiabad, Javaid Ahmed Dar Tuesday expressed shock and strongly condemned the audio-clip expose of a senior Congress leader from Rafiabad and said that there was no place in politics for people of such character.
Addressing public meetings in Rafiabad, Dar said that such elements are dangerous to the moral fabric of society and should be banished from public life once for all.
Our mothers and sisters will not feel safe if these elements ever succeed in getting into positions of power. They will abuse that power to further their immoral activities and will turn this society upside down because of their sheer lack of character and morality. Its time to wonder what kind of leadership Congress has offered to J&K from scams, corruption scandals, to immoral activities and exposes are these the people Congress wants to foist over our people? This is utterly shameful and repugnant and the Congress Party is answerable before the people for offering such individuals in politics, Dar said while addressing public meetings in Rafiabad.
He also lashed out at PDP for being represented by thieves, SOG stalwarts, scamsters and corruption experts. PDP is now the party of Ashiq Bukhari. The partys General Secretary and Rafiabad Candidate has been convicted and sentenced to three years in prison for a case of graft. In Srinagar the party is being represented by a known ration thief and in Rafiabad the partys flag-bearer is now a convicted urea thief. Is that what PDPs healing touch is about? This seems more like a stealing touch by PDP which is hell bent on selling all our resources and assets for their own personal economic welfare, Dar added.
