Srinagar: Baramulla police arrested three persons and recovered about 6.5 kilograms of narcotic substance from their possession in Pattan.
Baramulla police laid a Naka checking near village Tapper. A vehicle bearing registration number JK05/1626 driven by Jahangir Ahmad Ganie son of Abdul Ahad resident of Balgam was intercepted. Upon the search of the vehicle about 6.5 Kgs of narcotic substance was recovered. Two more person Bilal Ahmad Sofi son of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat resident of Aalibagh, Tarzoo and Javid Ahmad son of Ghulam Muhammad Bhat resident of Palhalan, Pattan who were boarding the vehicle were also arrested.
Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been started.
